This was an incredibly long process. I have well over 10 hours put into it doing the individual pixels. I tried to blend in the molten lava with different shades of red and the lava spurting out of the top with orange and yellow. Overall I thought it came out very nicely.
This came out really well, I like how the lava comes out of the volcano, I think that it adds something different to it. The only thing I may suggest is to define the lighting and shadow more but other than that I think it came out really great.

ReplyDeleteThis is excellent! You gave it a nice, simplified color scheme, while blending the colors nicely (especially where the red touches the dark rock). You also got all of the lava splashes, which adds an impressive amount of detail to an otherwise simple style!
ReplyDeleteeverything is well done. the lava at the top is really well done. your lines and coloring is good, but i would change the color of the mountain from black to maybe brown so that you can add another level of detail of shading and texturing there also. the red lava can use some texturing, like some areas are coloring and are darker while the top parts are brighter and hotter but awesome job.
